Textured Art
Texture is at the center of so much of my work. I’m deeply inspired by the raw beauty of natural surfaces - weathered stone, earth, plaster, sand, soil, rock formations, and the imperfect details found in nature. I love creating artwork that feels layered, dimensional, and full of movement.
Many of my pieces are created using a combination of materials including sand, salt, crushed pumice stone, marble powder, coffee, and various textural mediums to build organic surfaces and depth. I’m drawn to the unpredictability and natural variation these materials create, allowing each painting to develop its own unique character and movement.
Using layered techniques, palette knife work, and sculptural finishes, I create artwork that changes throughout the day as light moves across the surface. Some pieces are subtle and softly textured, while others are more heavily layered and expressive depending on the space and overall vision.
While my work often leans neutral and calming in palette, texture brings warmth, depth, and a strong sense of craftsmanship into a room. I love creating pieces that feel elevated yet grounded - artwork that feels collected, timeless, and connected to the surrounding interior.
These works are especially suited for modern organic, contemporary, earthy, and collected interiors where texture and natural materials play an important role in the overall design aesthetic.
